1 cup of blueberries (6oz)
12 oz water
1.5 cups of ice
2 bananas
handful of parsley

1.5 qts tonite:
1 cup of frozen pineapple
3 handfuls of spinach
4 romaine lettuce leaves
2 bananas
1 cup of ice
12 0z of water

March 20, 2010: Saturday - DAY 4:
2 qts:
1.5 cup of blueberries (9oz)
8 oz water
1 cup of dandelion tea
1.5 cups of ice
3 bananas
2 stalks of kale
2 stalks of red/purple kale
17:30 - I feel full but "hungry" aka not satisfied????? Just finished 2 qts from above ,going to make more smoothie.... as I watch NCAA games....
21:00 - made 7 pints of the following:
1/2 cup of pineapple
a little frozen ginger (boy is this strong, I use food processor to cut up & the freeze it)
2 small bananas
1 large mango
3 romaine lettuce leaves
2 big handfuls of spinach
1 cup of ice
this is really a smooth smoothie,
goes down easily
was craving pizza,
but drinking the above now,will finish in morning

16 oz of green smoothie prepared last nite, boy does that ginger have a strong presence, smell & taste.
09:20 -going for a run / walk.
walked 2+ miles
added to the smoothie from last nite (16oz wasleft):
.5 cup of frozedn pineapple
1 pear
10 blueberries
1 cup of ice
um um good!!!

March 22, 2010: Monday - DAY 6:
07:00 - made 2.5 qts. of the following:
1 cup of frozen pineapple
1 cup of frozen mango
3 romaine lettuce leaves
3 big handfuls of spinach
1 handful of parsley
1 cup of ice
24 oz of water
Boy does this taste gooooooooooood. It was hard to blend because the frozen pineapple & frozen mango was really thick.
13:00 - I am really craving sweets....and almost finished all my green smoothie here at work...
16:00- finished my 2.5 qts of greenies today..
17:00 - At Extreme Pizza in Richmond for 2 large slices w/ pepperoni and the pre-game "party" for the VCU vs College of Charleston basketball game.
home by 21:30 to make some more green delights... gotta use my kale & chard, trying to get my calcium & destroy those cravings...

simple update:
finished smoothie made last nite by 8am...
it was so smooth and tasty, the cinnamon hit the spot...
20:30-had 4 bananas starting to brown so that is the starting point for this smoothie:
3.5 qts:
4 bananas
1 stalk of kale
1 stalk of red/purple kale
2 ribs of celery
handful of red-edged lettuce
handful of spinach
1 cup of frozen pineapple
2 pears
approx 4 cups of water
1 cup of ice
had to rotate in & out using jars because my blender only holds 2 qts, i.e., poured some into 1-qt jars as I added more & then ended up using 3 1-qt. jars as I added each jar of ingredients back to blender until I had 3.5 qts. of green smoothie in the 3 1-qt jars & my 20 oz. coffee cup...
um um good....

09:00 - 10 miniature chocolate chip cookies
13:00 - lunch - 1.5 cups of pasta (shells)
15:30 - have drank the last 2 qts. from last nite

no work today
14:00 - have only drank 1 cup of water at this point in the day,no food
14:30 - making 1 gallon of green smoothie for the remainder of the day.
1 gallon:
4 small bananas
4 large pears
4 stalks of red/purple kale (stalks & leaves)
3 cups of spinach
2 ribs of celery with leaves
10 leaves of red-edged lettuce
3 cups of ice
24 oz of water
19:30 -finished the smoothie... cut some grass today; going to make more green smoothie
21:30 - no more smoothie, water instead....

16:00 -Subway foot long Spicy Italian
1 pt of Ben & Jerrys Phish Food
I am not experiencing as many cravings that I have had in the past ... most times if I just drink some water the craving will pass,,,
Also I don't seem to get the "hunger" headaches that I gotten in the past when I am not eating the SAD
