Today's mix (2 qts):
16 oz of yesterday's mix to start
8 oz of water
2 small handfuls of spinach
a couple tsp of cinnamon
1/2 cup of pineapple
1 stalk w/leaves of kale
5 leaves of Romaine hearts
10 sprigs of cilantro
2 stalks w/ leaves of swiss chard
1 tbsp of flax seed meal
1 cup of ice
This is a rather strong recipe but I have been drinking green smoothies similar to the above but with much more fruit (bananas, oranges, blueberries, peaches,etc) for the 9 days, 2 qts up to1 gallon a day...
12:00 noon - made 2 qts more
1/2 cup of pineapple
1 frozen mango
2 tsp of cinnamon
5 sprigs of parsley
3 small golden delicious apples
1 handful of spinach
1 leaf of chard
1.5 cups of ice
16 oz of water
16:00-PB&J was gooooood...
